The People Behind Decode Automation
Josh Griffin
Co-Founder
Josh spent 15 years running complex service businesses, most recently as an executive at a publicly traded company overseeing a $60 million operation and owning digital solutions, business transformation, and AI.
He has built the automation and AI systems he now sells — cutting payroll processing by 75%, invoicing time by 60%, and producing a 30% reduction in SG&A costs. He holds advanced training in generative and agentic AI through MIT and Harvard.
At Decode, Josh leads strategy and scoping. Every engagement starts with him mapping how a business actually operates before anyone talks about tools, which is why Decode's proposals tend to be smaller than clients expect.
Nick Malezis
Co-Founder
Nick spent 20 years in technology — web development, digital solutions, and enterprise business systems — while running regional operations exceeding $40 million a year and driving over $10 million in annual growth.
That combination is the point. He has built the systems and carried the number those systems were meant to move, which is a different job than either one alone — and it's why he can tell early which automation will hold up and which will quietly fail.
At Decode, Nick leads architecture and delivery. He builds for the business in front of him rather than the one it might become in five years, and he's the one who answers when something breaks at 6am.
